Choosing to eat a special fertility diet is critically important. What you eat and the nutrition it provides may be the most important factor of all for your health and fertility. The most important factors are to eat plenty of foods that contain fat-soluble vitamins and minerals, and avoid processed foods and soy products. Eat raw dairy products, organ meats, shellfish and fish, egg yolks, grass-fed animal products and plants from mineral rich soils.
Good nutrition is absolutely important, but it does not necessarily come from prenatal vitamins. Supplements should never be taken to compensate for a poor diet.
