Treating Children

“As the twig is bent, so grows the tree.”  Early influences can have a long term effect on children.

Dr. Veronica loves treating children, and believes it is critical to help them have the best possible start in life.

Who needs to come in?  See the list below.

If you had a difficult pregnancy or birth, your child may benefit from an evaluation and osteopathic treatment.  The birth process is difficult for every child, and Dr. Veronica treats the children of her pregnant patients no matter how beautiful the birth.  If your baby is fussy, spitting up, not nursing well or simply not thriving, come in.

The many falls and bumps and stressors of childhood can take their toll.  It is better to be proactive and preventative with children.  As an osteopath I take to heart the saying, “As the twig is bent, so grows the tree.”  Early influences can have a long term effect on your child.

Today children are increasingly unhealthy.  Rates of acute and chronic illness are very high.  Do not wait and see if your child will “outgrow” it, come in and learn how to restore vibrant health.

Osteopathic treatment can be very helpful for such things as:

Difficulty nursing – sucking or latching on
Colic, spitting up or fussiness
Constipation
Failure to thrive
Not sleeping well
Delayed milestones of growth and development
Recurrent ear infections or illnesses
Asthma
Behavior or learning difficulties
ADD, ADHD, anxiety
Down syndrome, autism
Growing pains, injuries from falls
…and much more
