Treating Adults

Osteopathic treatment is about restoring health, allowing the body to engage its inherent healing mechanisms.

Dr. Tilden treats all medical problems, including those without a clear diagnosis.

Dr. Tilden believes that the body has the ability to heal itself, and that vibrant health is your birthright. Osteopathic treatment is about restoring health, allowing the body to engage its inherent healing mechanisms.

A patient may be under the care of a specialist, doing everything modern medicine has to offer, and take full advantage of Dr. Tilden’s expertise. Osteopathic treatment can be part of a comprehensive approach to treatment.  It can frequently decrease the symptoms that may accompany a chronic disease or symptoms caused by the drugs or treatments for a disease.

This holistic approach may be where a person chooses to start their treatment when the situation is not urgent, seeing if the problem can be resolved first before going to more invasive or drastic measures.

Dr. Tilden believes her role as a traditional osteopathic physician is to find the health within the patient, allowing the body to regain its self-healing capacity.  Dr. Tilden can feel deviations from normal in the living anatomy, and then uses various hands-on techniques to restore normal structure and function.

Dr. Tilden also has uncommon knowledge of how to help fertility and hormone issues.  She helps both women and men with puberty, fertility, menopause, erectile dysfunction, and more.
